  1. Yeah our average December snowfall prior to 2000 was like 2.6". We're just reverting back to that
  2. Seems windier today than yesterday
  3. I don't think we're going to see a Dec 2000 any time soon. We basically had 2 warm days and the rest were below to well below average
  4. Seems like that offshore stuff is robbing the rest of the area. Although I would think that batch west of DC would make it up here
  5. Was always supposed to be heaviest this afternoon. Just that those 2-3" amounts probably won't happen near and west of the city especially along I95
  6. In case you didn't know we do have a separate thread for tomorrow's event
  7. Maybe this is the year we break the under 3" December rule
  8. Yeah i think we're good for at least 1.5" though some models have us in the in between zone with heavier amounts east and west
  9. Yeah I was just rereading the thread. Crazy heavy snow for a time battling sleet then a dry slot
  10. I remember hanging on to heavy wet snow through the morning and measuring around a foot then going over to heavy rain before getting a few inches of wraparound snow. I remember losing alot of snowpack from the heavy rain in between
  11. Euro Sunday night. Not enough cold air near the coast but interior could do well
  12. Euro still driest around an inch for Wednesday. A bit more east. Nam 2.5+
  13. Yeah definite overperformer for sure
  14. Canadians are going with 3 to 5" of rain for eastern PA and western nj. Euro is still the driest
  15. Is any of that reaching the ground?
  16. Well it will get cold and stormy just not necessarily at the same time
  17. Do you like shopping, crowds, expensive restaurants and Broadway shows? Then yes. Otherwise probably no
  18. We had alot of cold storms that year. A degree wouldn't make a difference in that case although the Feb 14th storm was a borderline event
