I’m actually hoping that I don’t hit the freezing point (though I live in area which will be very close) as I found a large, late season pumpkin plant growing in the hillside I cleared spring 2019 (dumped old pumpkins for deer last November).
Plenty of blossoms open and a few baby pumpkins started. I’m curious to see how long it will make it.

39 degrees currently.
House temp got down to 60 before my wife requested the windows be closed.
But, I held off turning on the heat, so that’s a win in my book.

56 currently. Looks like a glorious stretch of weather coming up.

Noticed the progged low temps down here in the upper 40s for 9/14-15; sign me up.

Decent rains. Some lighting/thunder now. Power was back 8:00 am this morning. Thank you Jcp&L.
Hope the rest of you get power back asap.

Lost power for about 6 hours here in northern Somerset county. Apparently I'm one of the lucky ones since I heard others might be out until Mon.
I'm in southwest Morris, night 2 of outage. Jcp&L has "dispatched and is investigating" per website.
Keep in mind I respect these people tremendously, but no power on top of the Covid nonsense, plus a 7 month pregnant wife and a 3.5 year old...patience begins to run thin.

Out since 12:30. Had over 3.5" here. The flooding in long valley thru califon on the south branch of the Raritan was impressive.
The water was hitting the bottom of my '03 expedition. I was amazed at people in small sedans trying to get through.

Genny up and running fridge and first floor window ac. Hearing "days" before it's back. Up to 9 transformers blown in the chester/mendham area.
Took a drive post storm, long valley to califon extensive flooding. Had water hitting the bottom of the expedition. Watched small sedans attempt to get through it.

Over 1 million without power in NJ, including me.

Lost a large black walnut, but it was on the list to chop down due to being hollowed out.
3.5" of rain and falling.

Power out by 12:30. Over 3" here. Winds are intermittent, but strong gusts.
-
Radar has definitely filled in. I would expect by 11:00 am the bulk of central/notheast NJ to be in on the action.
I have .5" from last night so far and am on the doorstep of the heavier returns.
-
Getting heavy rain now; the radar presentation is wild with 2/3 of the state missing this precipitation currently.
I was expecting this to move east and run the coast line; always neat to learn something new.

Just now, wdrag said:
FFG is still high and River Flood ensembles are not amped. Still can see some problems develop if we get decent 1-3 total rains in NJ/se NYS Sunday and then followed by a coastal hugging Isaias track.
I hope my comment was not perceived as a slight; by all means your analysis was fantastic and I appreciate it.

After reading Walts analysis, I might start construction on the Ark and fire up the Genny just in case.

88/69 currently. Light breeze. Not as oppressive as projected, yet, out here (95+).
-
I'm seeing it in Chester; 35-40 miles northwest of those cells.
-
Getting it good now in round 2 for the day.
Winds, heavy rain. Not too much lightening/thunder.

Agreed; just curious. If the month stays warm who knows, maybe it’ll produce a few small ones.
