Not sure what point you're trying to make here. Snow is snow; don't understand why it's such a big deal if it falls in March or in January.
I don't know about you but with regular snowstorms being something that is far from guaranteed in this area, I'd rather it snow during months that provide for the most staying power, and not during the tail end when it's gone before noon the next day. That said, I'll always take what I can get.

my intent to someday live where it snows 100”+ and not have to worry anymore about the chase.
Then what would you do you with the 23 extra hours in your day? A guaranteed 100" winter would guarantee your loss of passion for it within a couple of years, I'd wager

Can we actually talk about if the Euro ensembles showed any snow or not? I’d look for myself but I’m 6 deep in Murphy’s Irish stouts

Can't recall ever seeing a national radar quite like this.
Maybe we can do a never-seen before seamless transition from a WSW to a flood warning

Weren’t you paying attention. Next year is 2016 without the fluke HECS. Then two Nina’s. But 2023 will be rocking...if the mjo doesn’t screw it up again.
HECS happen every 6-7 years so that sounds about right.
For the few of you that actually work, don’t forget to step away from your desk and enjoy the spring day!- 2

He is going to bust so bad. He said it’s a bad pattern the next 2 weeks not just for the mid Atlantic but northeast and New England too. Forget the fact the northeast is getting a snow/ice storm NOW. I don’t know where the couple of threats day 7-9 and 11-12 are going to hit. Some runs go south. They could shift north. But there is a limit to how far north. I would say this storm now is kind of the northern bound to where those go if the trough amplified too far west again. I find it extremely unlikely that no one in the east all the way to New England gets no snow the next 2 weeks...even ignoring the snow falling now. Lol
Going completely against a day 10 model forecast this winter is probably the best bet you can make..

Actually if you ignore the fantasy day 10-15 crap the realistic <5 day forecasts generally trended better for us
