If this is accurate, we should be under an Advisory at least. I’ve seen many storms here that continues snow and sleet when it was supposed to change to rain.  I won’t be surprised if we stay frozen for much of this.  Even after the rain, a flash freeze on wet roads is going to be a mess on Sunday and Monday

Just speaking for myself living near sea level, the reduced sun angle of Dec and Jan can overcome the challenges that folks at increased elevation don't have to worry about until late Feb and March. To make a blanket statement that sun angle isn't an issue until March goes entirely against what I see year in and year out.

I am flying out of BWI this weekend. With the upcoming dicey forecast, I bought two flights with points- one is leaving Saturday at 11:05 AM and the other one leaves Sunday at 10AM. Which one do you think I should go for/ will have the best chance of getting to the airport and taking off?
