    You gotta be really careful what you take literally from theirs or any “futurecast”. It’s purely to give a gist and is usually off. Their package software is wonky. Yet they still show it.

    Reminder it’s not over and… sleet piled up is white. I do worry like heck about icing. Sometimes I think yall like to cliff jump and melt on the floors just so when things wobble back some, you get a high and rejoice.

    Hey. I’m sure the Big Fish was looking and is looking at all this modeling with moisture grabbing monsters and he says he still sees 2-3in across the triangle and increasing east. He isn’t under a network here. He can say what he feels.

    Well, in defense of the school systems, they have to take precautions because of buses. Given the inconsistency with the forecasts, they did the right thing. I wouldn’t say they jumped. At least they are doing virtual. Wake isn’t and I think tomorrow is the last banked day.

    Luckily he still makes posts on his Facebook account. Last night he was saying he could see 2-4in around here but could see some sleet. I see what they did. They expanded the 1-2in area to cover the entire sourthern part of wake. Before the bottom sliver was less.

    Wasn’t it basically the same as earlier today? The 1-2/2-4 idea for wake? I missing something. They always seem to have multiple ones floating. I just saw this on Facebook as well and thought the timestamp was good, but didn’t note a change from the AM

    The Fish just posted recently on his Facebook page. He said something about the triangle could see 2-4in and then areas more n and e could see more. Talking about mixing in various areas.

    Precisely. That and they watch one of the segments and don’t check back in for a day. When they create those graphics, much of the public takes the lines so realistically they are practically looking for street names to decide what color they are in. You can’t take the lines literally. regardless, it’s looking like no matter what many of us are seeing at least 2 days off work/school.

    Seeing reports of west Raleigh, but I’ve only seen the tiniest of flakes. Like 5 of them. Near Umstead.

    Interesting seeing forecasts calling for virtually nothing in Raleigh to a flurry even after the trends, to .5, to 2in or more. All over the place.
