    I would hope, but idk. I was sad to see RAH caved to the dry slot idea much like Wrals totals. Hoping the short range today keeps going and they have to pay attention or you’d think.

    The latest short range runs look good. Hope it means something.

    Correct me if I’m wrong but aren’t we past the euro at this point? A met said late last night time to move on. Not being snarky. But the latest short range are quite different.

    RAH at just before 2 am dropped the accumulation totals quite a bit and… now models are coming in quite nice for the triangle.

    Seriously if you go to O’Fishel Weather (Greg Fishel) Facebook page linked above, he goes over his thoughts concerning the possibilities and being about to overcome the dry air. It’s a helpful watch. Greg knows NC weather.

    Taking that 3in spot literally is like deciding where the tiger’s stripes will be before it’s even conceived. That spot likely won’t exist come time.

    Sorry I’m not taking that little spot over wake literally. I look at that like 5ish. You just can’t. I’ll take it.

    Watching him over the years, he doesn’t mess around with ratings. He’s keeping his maps the same fo now opposed to the map WRAL is showing because it is possible the slotting doesn’t happen or isn’t severe. Makes people manic if you change graphics all the time. The new RAH NWS brief on YouTube was helpful.

    Really seeing the massive girth of amounts and ideas all over media from tv mets in and out of NC. Keeping it confusing.

    Ok. Rah just posted their slides and said no real change from AM thoughts. Sam graphics. Still going with the 2:49AM thoughts too. Only added some could see less. But broad brush is 8-10in. they clearly aren’t ready to slice NC into 3 parts yet. Per what Mike Maze keeps saying the euro suggests.

    Kat, with Mike in the background said 9min ago they are sticking to 3-6 but have considered bumping it up. Haven’t decided yet. They are holding. Numbers have NOT gone down on their forecast since this morning. They have only upped some areas. on same topic, WRAL is notorious for saying the euro shows things it doesn’t. They are also regularly guilty of mixed messaging minute by minute and between social media accounts as far as verbal comments.

    Accurate. On so many levels. Public mets need to just be frank. Plan for a few inches and a whole ton.

    And again, they just updated this in the last 10ish mins so they are clearly telling us to hang on. They are watching.

    RAH just made some subtle adjustments… hmm. From 8in to 9in and the high end boundaries expanded. The low end went from 3in to 5
