Stein: Right now Saturday looks to be partly sunny with a few scattered showers, perhaps centered earlier in the day, and temperatures in the upper 70s. My pick of the weekend is Sunday. That day looks partly to mostly sunny with highs up near 80. There is not any major heat in sight for now.

From Stein himself : n Boston, the first week of July has been the wettest in over 100 years. When you look at the numbers, this year and 1915 are the only ones that are close. Everything else has seen much less rain to this point in the month.

The forest is actually in Sherborn Ma but it's still an oddity one of the few large tracks left in eastern Mass. And I've been very very lucky to have the opportunity .

By far the wettest I have ever seen it in July. Looks like a bad May. 10 inches of rain in the past month and an half will do that.
