  4. It's been a great summer for clouds.
  5. Bald-faced hornets suck. Cutting one of my fields with a tractor and sickle bar. one tree in the whole Field. Figured I could get under the tree if I leaned back in the seat. As I'm going under the tree I hit a basketball sized nest with my head. Managed to throw the tractor in neutral and jump off . With my eyes swelling shut and the tractor and sickle bar still running I said eff it let it run out of gas.

  7. Folks next to me at the woodyard got a big party going on. Tents and catering trucks from Woodman's. Maybe I'll get some free clams on my wood stacks.

  10. Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues for Worcester MA, Marlborough MA and Hudson MA until 3:30 PM EDT. This storm will contain wind gusts to 70 MPH! Yes please!

Instances of large hail will be possible as well as an isolated tornado. * Marginal risk for excessive rainfall and flash flooding. Greatest risk would be in urban and poor drainage areas.

  14. There is a risk for scattered strong to severe t-storms Friday afternoon and evening. Damaging straight line wind gusts are the primary threat. Large hail and localized urban and poor drainage flooding are also possible. The greatest risk is across northern CT and interior MA.
