  1. I was out for a run around the same time and could see the snow coming from the clouds to my west. I ended up seeing like 10 of the smallest flakes you could ever see, but it counts! Then I had to drive my daughter to something in Columbia and a little after 6, we got under that real thin band/squall right around 175 and Snowden. It snowed pretty good until I had to turn in a different direction, lol. Stopped almost immediately. Band was incredibly thin, but there were some dark greens and yellows on radar. Anyway, my daughter and I were both really excited so it made our night.
  2. Damn. I must have missed the single snowflake they observed.
  3. That stuff down south looks like it's going to slide southeast of here. Don't think I'll see a single flake. Oh well, it's still a little early even for first flakes.
  4. Somehow managed to completely whiff yesterday. Had some very short periods of heavy rain and saw a couple of flashes in the distance. That was it. The 'ole Hoco split.
  5. Incredible bust. Can't remember ever getting less from a four-day forecast of severe storms and flooding.
  6. Bunch of cells just blew up from about 70 on north in the western suburbs. Just looks like a quick shot of heavy rain though.
  7. Yeah I was just getting some very distant rumbles and then the sky opened up and the wind got going. Pretty good storm with no T&L.
  8. Uh, just had something pretty interesting come close to me. I'll try to post video when I get a chance.
  9. Tornado Warning for a large area of Howard County. TVS on radarscope.
  10. This seems like it's probably going to be the main event to me. Is there really going to be a line coming through later?
  11. I actually think it looks less impressive at the end of the loop than it did earlier. Lost its hook.
  12. Does everything get warned now? That looks like a heavy shower.
  13. Severe busts, I just shrug my shoulders. Snow busts, I'm ready to throw the computer off the deck.
  14. This is looking like a bust. Activity is way too far north.
  15. The radar looks like yesterday if yesterday's activity was just pushed 50 miles south.
  16. Some distant thunder here now, but definitely much darker just southwest than due west.
  17. So much for the northern areas getting hit hard today. PA hasn't gotten much and the northern part of the line in Maryland has really fallen apart. Going to be a close call for my location. Looks like heaviest will slide south of me.
  18. Doesn't the last radar image looks like a textbook hook?
  19. Northern part of the line seems to have collapsed a bit and is not as organized. Southern part seems to be pretty formidable from Frederick and south.
  20. Line by Hagerstown seems to have strengthened significantly. Curious to see if the rest of the line follows suit.
  21. Line to the west is really booking it. Doesn't look that impressive right now, but maybe it strengthens as it heads east.
