Man, just need another 50-100 mile bump west. That said, I will trade a fringe here for a direct hit in winter (provided we don't have the crappy temps we had last year).

Disappointing here given how crazy the radar looked, but I guess there had to be some losers. Some people really cashed in. Seemed like parts of Anne Arundel and especially PG got hammered.

Yeah still raining here now but lightening up and wind has stopped. Also getting a lot brighter out.

Getting some good gusts here right now with some downpours. Just getting barely clipped by this cell after just being missed by a couple earlier.

Looks like some kind of little outflow boundary just raced went of Columbia.

Looks like an "east of 295" threat so far. Can hear thunder rumbling in the distance. Will be interesting to see how this evolves. Pretty big storms blowing up to the southeast and northeast.

Philly complex of storms looks to finally be weakening a bit and pushing slightly south.

Painful watching that huge blob just sit and explode over Philly. Wonder if some localized areas make a run at double-digit rainfall total up there.

I feel like squall lines were also more frequent in the 90s as well. Nice day yesterday for the Moco to Laurel crew. That was a nice storm.

Thought there might have been a very tiny bit of rotation on the Catonsville storm. The lightning that is striking way outside of the storms is incredible right now. The storm in Baltimore just had a lightning strike around Laurel. I wanted to try to go running but got chased back inside by lightning. Lightning so far away from the storm is making it impossible to go out right now because you don't know when you are safe.

I didn't end up really cashing in like I thought I would yesterday but I still got something. Crazy you missed it completely.

Kinda surprised given the radar but I guess there is some activity up that way and there was a nice thump of rain yesterday in that area. Does seem like even those storms likely miss north and west unless there is more development.

Best guess is Ellicott City will end up ok because the intensity of the storms in the area has just lessened considerably.

I believe that happens anytime the area is under a Flood Warning, but I could be wrong.

Not too bad here. A bit breezy but rain is coming down really good now. Looks like the worst was to the south and the west of me. Does seem like a bit of flooding concern for Ellicott City if this keeps up much longer.

Seems like we are getting the split right now. Nice storms to the west and then a nice cluster near Richmond.

I was thinking more of a flash flood threat, but the latest model runs don't look as good for this weekend/next week.
