  1. The bigger issue is weenies having to wait till 1130pm for the gfs and 2am for the euro. How dare congress do that to us. The audacity.

  4. 31 up in the catoctins at 5pm. 35 now at home in Smithsburg. Impressive air mass

  6. Ended up with 5.5" here in Smithsburg. Was really impressed with the temp drop between 530am and 630am ,about 10 degrees and then instant stickage basically as soon as the change over happened. Not bad considering it was 50 degrees at midnight.
  7. 3/12 - 5.5" Season total - 17.75" Average is about 28" Currently at 63% of Average.
  8. I'm at work today so my daughter is doing the measuring for me. She said 4.75 so I feel pretty confident in that if your getting about the same.
  9. Daughter at home in Smithsburg is reporting just under 4" Here in Thurmont looks like less. Maybe 2" just by eyeballing it. Might end up our biggest snow of the season in Smithsburg if we can keep this up for another 3 or 4 hours

  17. @HighStakes called it yesterday. This has the potential to be the biggest event of the season for Northern and western areas.

  19. Yep. Don't really want to post snow maps lol but it's pretty much a wide spread 3 to 6 from DC westward.
