The "look" matters. This has been a floundering franchise for almost my entire life. What a difference a year makes. Raising ticket prices and basically making you buy more games for their partial plans. That's not a good "look". Makes you almost think Angelos is back lol. I think the look does matter. Look at there attendance the last few years when they were winning. It wasn't that good considering how many games they won in 23 and 24. Compare their attendance to other teams that were winning during that time frame. It ain't great

Really not a good look right now. Hard to believe the downfall and change in outlook on this franchise over the past 12 months

45 days on Mlb roster prior to September 1st or 130 at bats. That's what makes them not a rookie. Are they worried they are going to end up over 130 ab's?

We got a complete teardown to studs of the O's for about 5 seasons to end up with 2 good years but unable to win a playoff game and now back to losing and selling. Hopefully this isn't the start of another several years of stinking. The young core hasn't been very impressive this year. Wether slowed down by injuries or under performance it's been a rough year for them. (Holiday hasn't been bad). Now where's @Maestrobjwa to tell me how great the owner is? Lol

Sometimes I get the feeling Elias enjoys stock piling prospects and building an elite farm system more than building an elite Major League roster.

Uruis surprised me. He's not a FA until after next year.

I've read a few articles that the Os could be in on starters with team control beyond this year. I doubt it happens but you never know I guess. The Os will need to be busy in the off season for starting pitching. With Eflin,Sugano and Morton all gone this week or at the end of the season they've got some work to do.

I would love to see the Os trade for a starting pitcher with multiple years of team control left. Would be nice to see them building to be competitive next year.

I think they need to add a professional bat or 2 during the off-season to balance out the line up. Not enough good at bats during crucial times of the game. I think the young core could of been over valued some. Over the Long haul I think there good enough to win if you give them some outside help. Losing Santander's 40+ Homer's from last year has certainly hurt the line up. And when you combine that with Gunner's power outage,It's a significant drop off in production. In Adley's case He's been better this year than last. His surface numbers don't show it but deeper stats show he's been one of the most un luckiest hitters in the league. He's hard hit rate and barrel rate suggest his BA should be significantly higher than it is. I don't have much faith in Elias. It's been a rough 12 months for him going back to last years trade deadline. His wheelhouse seems to be the draft but building a major league roster isn't.

Rubenstein has had full control for over a year now.

Look it up. I just did. He's known for taking clients to FA but he has done early extensions. I'm not going to take the time to type all the players out but he has done for some big time players over the years.

I'm not getting into this with you again lol. At the end of the day no extensions have been done. It's on Elias and ownership to make it happen if they want it to happen.

At this point there's not much positive to say about Elias/ and ownership. Their unwilliness to lock up there home grown talent is disheartening and I think the ship has sailed on Gunner now too. ( too extend him) Kansas City locked up Bobby Witt to a deal that will be pretty team friendly in the future. Smart on KC's part.

I doubt they trade him at this trade deadline but the writing is on the wall. They have Basillo at Norfolk and their top 2 picks in the draft wete catchers. Says alot about what they think of Adley

The fall of the Orioles from just 2 years ago is really unbelievable. I watched a good portion of the game tonight. Playing the atrocious Rockies. From coughing up a 4 run lead ,to Holiday getting picked off first after a leadoff single, to only getting 1 hit in inning 3- 6 after having their starter on the ropes after hitting 4 home runs in the first 2 inning, they just flat out stink. They will probably end up 30 wins worse this year than 2 years ago. Pretty harsh fall. Yes, the pitching has issues but that is something that could be fixed with a trade and a few off season acquisitions. There young core is either all having an off year or have been overrated/over valued. I'm more concerned about their line up moving forward than the pitching. Look at all their batting averages and OBP. It's not good enough. Unless your heating 40+ Homer's batting .210 isn't good enough. I don't know where they go from here but the line up needs help in 2026 and beyond. Oh and somehow Adley went from one of the best catchers in baseball to below average on offense and Defense since the all-star break last year. Head scratcher

I can't remember the grass ever being this thick heading into August as it is right now. It's not that it's growing fast but there's just so much of it.

Mayo did somewhat of a bat flip when he hit the Homer off the rays starting SS lol. Not sure what to make of him but seems a bit of an Ass. Between that odd baserunning play and him running his mouth to the media when he was sent down earlier in the year after batting under .100 I'd say I'm not a fan.

The Os are good this year at laying turds right after they do something good.
