Heavy snow in Smithsburg. A good inch so far. Roads are caving.

Unfortunately I think there's going to be alot of disappointment in the area between the actually coastal and where the IVT sets up. With these marginal temps its going to be hard to accumulate without rates. I told my wife this morning don't be surprised to wake up to bare grass tomorrow morning lol. Here's to hoping we all get slammed

32 in Smithsburg now with snow mixing in. I'm at about 750ft in elevation. Looks like the Catoctins are getting hammered right now.

Light rain still in Smithsburg but definitely snowing up in the Catoctins. Visibility has lowered. The base of the Catoctins is about 1 mile from my house and they've disappeared.

I'm hoping our areas can get into the meat of the IVT. Lots of models putting that over or close to our hoods. Definitely more of a nowcast with that feature.
