Feels like there might be enough cold air around this year to cash in from time to time. Alot better than last year. Most of the times was a close the blinds type of pattern

Hard to tell exactly because of the wind but looks like I picked up 3 inches last night after the change over. Storm total of 9.0 of snow/sleet Forecast was for 12 to 18 here in Washington county. Missed the mark a little but still a great start to the season. Last year I only had 5.5. By far the lowest total in 20 years living in Smithsburg.

2.5 " of new snow. 8.5" total snow/sleet

Moderate snow. Picked up another inch since switching back to snow Up to 7" of snow/sleet now. I've surpassed my seasonal total of last year. Had to go back to last season's snow totals thread to check. I only had 5.5 last year.

Had about .5 of sleet this evening for a total of 6" so far of snow/sleet. Snow is trying to mix back in now. Moderate sleet/ snow mix now.

Man we really flirt with sleet all the way out to I 81. But if the Euro is right and we end up with over 2 inches of qpf in the form of snow it will be historic along the I - 81 corridor.

Should be a great location for you. About 10 min. North of Thurmont. Beautiful area.

Moderate snow here at work in Hanover PA. Reports from the wife at home in Smithsburg is about a half inch on non paved surfaces.

Cautiously optimistic. We should be a prime spot. Hoping we are not too far west to miss the CCB.

When I worked In Frederick alot of times there was a huge difference between Frederick and home. Ussually we are 3 to 5 degrees cooler than Frederick and an extra 400 to 500 ft in elevation.
