DCA has precisely 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance of recording 1”.

BWI’s odds are probably a bit higher.

the law of significant digits said the number you had to answer with was 0

  2. Because I'm not wx expert the thing i'll be watching now with models is where the NS kickers is.  NAM speeds up our bowling ball and it gets ahead of the kicker.  if we want south they need to stay at same longitude. But its the NAM.

I am just ready for another soaking rain. Only an inch last night. I think 2 is doable for this next one.

The warm, wet soil is totally gonna eat my December snow.

No.  What will happen is that all this rain and then freezing temps for DJF will create such a thick layer of ice and frozen ground that snow will instantly pile up every time it falls.  Then the snow will insulate the ice from melting so both make a symbiotic relationship keeping each other alive.

There is always one in the crowd. Warm ground.... Snow can't accumulate... Blah, Blah, Blah.... :P

Come on H2O, embrace the snow. :D

Oh it will snow somewhere.  Snow maps are pretty but climo is a witch.  Nice trends and get the bowling ball a tad more south and a bit more confluence/congestion in the ATL and this would scream Nov early storm for all.  But I'm not ready to take the plunge just yet.  Most pools are drained this time of year anyways.

The one caveat is that the Caps won the Cup this year so this could be the year of DC.

Are you sure?  There's a CoCoRahs station just SW of you ( Franconia 1.3 SSE ) that is at 59.51" and DCA is at 55.9".  That would be a major, sustained screwjob to be that much less than those two.

Last time i looked at my total on the VP2 it was 48" but that was before the two most recent pourings.  I know that some of the training rains this summer just missed me.  But to see how some other places are over 60 and nearing 70 is quite the difference.

It’s the only way to be safe.

down to I-80 now and pulled off for breakfast.  The drive down to here had snow whole way and acclimation on roads up in higher sections of 219.

So happy to see snow again.

Keep bringing it with you.  Granted it will turn to rain by my zip code but maybe jackpotville can get a dusting and N balt will see flakes.

The board has come to life. I can't go away without coming back to see multiple threads with new posts.

    I love it.

Everyone is posting yearly rain totals.  I want to say this will prepare us for the DJF drought but tempers might flare and the country is on edge right now so that might be a little incendiary.  Warm/wet, cold/dry
