Same as us getting Cat 5 Irene to hit us. I dont see the need for it as early reports aren't indicating much if any structural damage to area buildings. No bridges seem affected either.

I never want to feel that again. Seriously. Moderate, violent, I don't are what you want to call it, I'm not hung up on that. All I know is it scared the shot out of me as our entire office on the 10th floor shook. We hauled ass out of that building. Downtown us a mess (traffic wise). For this area, this was pretty big.

No. nothing to that degree again for sure. I can't say I was as much scared as I was concerned. Not knowing how long it was going to last was my biggest fear.

Thank goodness you weren't out on the dam today like you were supposed to be!

Mod seems about right, definitely shaking and rattling going on during it. but nothing fell over, at least in my cube.

Some ceiling fixtures partially fell and a couple of things were tipped over in my cube but nothing worse that that. Pictures fell off the walls at home but no biggie

Californians always have a field day when quakes happen in non quake areas. I've felt plenty ... It was 'violent' for a few seconds by our standards.

Up on my 3rd floor it was fairly substantial. Violent? Hard to say as this was a first time event of this magnitude for many of us. Shyt was shakin tho

I remember watching those sick yellow bands set up and sit over my area for hours. Taking a Jebwalk with my kids while that was happening was an unbelievably special moment
