Can Concord ever win! Was toooo warm upstairs over the wknd for snow, so all RAIN with sleet at onset! Today, snow flying overhead but TOO DRY at surface! Haven't seen even one flake from all the returns the radar is giving me!

Concord TEMP 35' DP 32 Pouring rain to beat the band! So painful to think about the few tweaks that could have turned this into a 12-16" snowstorm. So close, yet so far away from it! Still time for a good snowstorm.... 38-40days still to work with!

We take what we can get outside of the mountains! Noone is wishcasting. Might we just enjoy this storm without you interfering? We always hope until the clouds break in these parts. Thanks for your insight!

Precip filling in quickly in Chester, Cherokee, York and Union counties SC! Expecting to see something fall by 6pm! Will update then. Hope you cash in as well. Was in Durham yesterday and it was nice to see some white on the grass!

I prefer a foot of snow like we all do, but I'll take a heavy 5inch sleet storm too!!

I'm right at Concord/Harrisburg near 49. It's brutal on this area. Warm nose pretty much ruins significant snows. Sleet storms can be ok I suppose. I can imagine the 74 corridor is even worse huh? Best of luck!!

So, aallll that precip in TN even up into KY, is that all going to just disappear once it hits the Appalachians? Charlotte and the rest of the western and central piedmont get nothing? The radar looks juicy and I'm sitting at 31 with dew point of 24!!!! What givez?

I live in North Carolina and LOVE snow. Unfortunately I'm not in the Mountains of NC so I'm lucky to see 3-5" TOTAL per winter! Anyway, hoping you guys can direct me to some awesome live streaming cams up your way so I can see what lake effect snow looks like!! I've only found a few on YouTube and they are railcams. One is in North East PA, the other in Fairport N.Y.. Thx in advance y'all!!

Better late then never?sorry for that delay. It had been sleeting about 30mins, but its been rain/sleet flip flop all afternoon. Finally seeing wet snow mixing in more!!! How about iyby?

Snow has been gradually mixing with the sleet/rain at Concord/Harrisburg town limits. Since Cornelius is all SNOW now, I'm guessing another 30-45 mins until mby is all snow!!

Sorry for that outburst! Lol I'm absolutely sick that the heavy band I will be able to see through the trees! Looks like it will be as close to me as Gastonia, which is 40miles west. Precip has yet to change to all SNOW imby.... still optimistic tho!!

If you ever hear the name or meet someone with the last name Spainhour, those are my relatives. Most settled in what is now King and Tobaccoville. My greatx6 grandfather built cabin for his 13 kids and it is in Central Park in King... enjoy the country!!
