Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded to a lot of calls for wires down, trees, down, structure damage, etc. today.

It is interesting how us lowlanders in Anne Arundel compared to the Northern counties have down well these past years since the Jan 2022 storm (especially south of Annapolis). While I say this, I hope it doesn't jinx us for this storm!

After listening to everything on the radio, I would be highly surprised there were any victims brought out alive.

Listening to the scanner. Just awful. 60 passengers + 4 crew members on the plane. Unknown how many on the helicopter.

Even after a high of 48, my front yard is still 95% snow covered. Ready for the warmer temps to melt more of this snow/ice! It was nice for a while but sick of it by now.

I was at Sandy Point. It was pretty non existent on the bayside but looking across, it seemed a decent amount of ice on the eastern shore side of the Bay. The marina and the channel at the park is completely iced over.

As of today that is accurate up towards the Patapsco River. Not accurate anymore just north of the Bay Bridge at Sandy Point which is probably at best 30%.
