    4.3 inches at 6 AM. That makes a little over 9 inches this week, and for the season. Not a bad start.

    Not here. A few of our schools were virtual this week due to Covid related staffing issues. Today is a snow day. Everyone is off. They are not allowed to use virtual for snow days. Kind of crazy right?

    My inaccurate storm total is 3.75" after melting and compaction. Was probably closer to 5 inches here. Some other local measurements would support this. Not too bad at all.

    This is a pretty good storm. Don't know how much we have so far, but it's coming down heavy. Can't keep up trying to clear it. 27F, wind chill of 17F. Good call closing schools. lol

    Finally have stickage! That was quick. Roads are a mess already. At least people seem to be driving slowly.

    My camera at home shows snow starting to stick to paved surfaces. I'm currently 3 miles north of that and the streets are just wet. Pretty big difference for such a short distance.

    Had to wait for the coffee to kick in. Now, I have to go allow my employer to make me remove the snow. lol I'll try to keep the updates coming. Seems I may be right on that slippery slope of this storm's gradient. Might it be 3 inches? Might it be 12? Lets spin the wheel and find out!

    That's a problem everywhere. People out west get numb to them. People here think it'll never happen. Sometimes it takes these disasters hitting close to home before the warnings are taken seriously. Maybe this will change some minds for the future.
