  1. Have 3.5" of rain on the month. See if 5 inches is attainable by days end tomorrow. At least the weekend and a couple days after look pretty good. Get some 70's going in there.
  2. Yesterday was perfect. Spent all day outside, too. Actually got a tan! However, the Pacific Northwest has returned.
  3. So, below average temps til the middle of May? By then the normal highs will be in mid 70's, so I guess we can expect temperatures to be in the upper 50's, low 60's?
  4. Here's to a stormy spring! Surprised the weather has been as severe as it has given how cool it's been.
  5. Wasn't last spring a pretty nice one, though? Can't remember since we've had some absolutely terrible May's in there.
  6. Yeah, temps in western/central PA already in the 30s.
  7. Thanks. Took some shots with my Nikon as well for a pano. Hopefully it's as good as the cell phone. lol Side note: It's always fun with how gustless (new word?) the winds are down here in this completely open space. The outflow slams you and doesn't let up.
  8. Got slammed/getting slammed down here on the bay. Not quite sure how high the winds were or how much the temp dropped, but the wind chill was legitimately cold. Good storm!
  9. I always say that about Cumberland County. Vineland/Millville/Bridgeton is like the severe weather triangle of the area. It's pretty much Moore, Oklahoma. lol
  10. Being in South Jersey....I call bullshit. lol Damn things always seem to miss.
  11. Don't foresee any severe hail, but severe winds are a definite possibility. There's decent CAPE and lapse rates, but good shear for sure.
  12. Yep. Down to 34.7 now. Mt Holly busting low tonight. They have 36 forecast.
  13. Yeah, this weather sucks. Already down to 36.5F here, so another frosty night for sure. At least tomorrow we'll see a bit of normalcy. The relentless winds will still be.....relentless.
  14. People bitch because it sucks. lol For me, it's as boring as a fair weather day, but it makes being outside crap. I hate the heat and humidity as well (except for the thunderstorm byproduct of course), but typical spring weather is great. After winter days with temps 10 - 15 degrees above normal, it sucks to have spring days with temps 10 - 15 degrees below normal. It's not supposed to be 60 in January, but it is in April!
  15. lol. You really do enjoy shit weather, huh? I think you're the only person I've ever seen get excited over a typical British day. haha
  16. Video of a marina in Somers Point being torn apart. https://www.nj.com/atlantic/2020/04/watch-wind-rips-entire-roof-off-jersey-shore-marina.html?utm_content=nj_facebook_njcom&utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=njcom_sf&utm_medium=social&fbclid=IwAR2f8ewAuUvEPJUxS_j-Wr7ft-COy_ZbJpwmd5mGDNCf7vZOiRipEdvMGYg&fbclid=IwAR0gXZM0qIeGs7JJGpoc73sG_hCothfPtXxg0ecTY0FYheLfOVaz_VRalDk
  17. Been on the Delaware Bay all day. What a difference a couple hours can make! Absolutely perfect weather now.
  18. I've heard a few reports of trees and power lines down on the GloCo Fire band, but haven't seen anything myself.
  19. Welp, that was underwhelming. Winds gusted into the low to mid 30s and just a little rain. Temp is now in the mid 50s and the sun in shining!
  20. Instability and shear ahead of the front are plentiful (plenty of sun now too - up to 63F already with a 59 dew), and precip on the front is more organized now than the models predict.
  21. Gibson Ridge is the best. Either GRL3 or GRL2. With GRL3, you'll get more products, like radar estimated rainfall. But with GRL2, you'll get level 2 data, a better UI since you can change products without going into menus, and you get volumetric mode (shown below) and cross-section mode. GRL3 is 80 dollars and GRL2 is 250 dollars. First image is GRL3 and second is GRL2 with volumetric mode. Didn't have any good storms to sample right now.
