Man, the MA doesn’t even do weenies right anymore. The NE forum is putting us to shame.
-
Actually had measurable lol. .1”, 33F on the water.

SE Harford wwa sounds wonderful.. 2-5” with 40 mph gusts. I feel like 1” would be a win honestly.
-
I see phineas scared the SE mass weenies with his usual bright demeanor

Light snow/mist stuff in Aberdeen. 30 degrees.

29, maybe like .2 otg in Darlington. I’m really hoping for 2-4” from the coastal in Havre de Grace

Just looked at the forecast for Lewes, DE. Total snowfall through tomorrow 9-17" with 30-35 mph winds gusting to 45. Fun.
.
Does any model show less than .5” precip for you? I feel like you’re a lock for 5-8”.

Light snow in Darlington

Why do snowfall maps take longer than the precip charts? Does it take time to do the calculations?
They try to withhold them from the weenies as long as possible

For areas east towards NE md it's going to be a substantial improvement
Dude I like you… but you are the sole reason I have the lowest total west of the bay.

Interesting, maybe the models will converge after the new data is in.
I’d say they converged pretty hard for our area already

I wanted a completely arbitrary 3.9” from this storm to get to 10” for the month, but there is now a near-zero chance that happens.
-
Is anyone else kind of excited to see which model did the best? I usually don’t care to be honest, but this storm is interesting.

The Canaan nwr on site is once again at -30.
Is that legit? I read the article, but just wondering. -30 twice in a week?
I know it’s real but I find it hard to believe lol.

Anyone know the last time PRE and winter weather were discussed in the same sentence? Interesting mention by LWX in their AFD about it
@ravensrule maybe you could help?

Harford/Cecil/N. Kent are in for quite a disappointment. Potential for something significant, and it keeps getting teased, but we should know what’s going to happen. I feel like CAPE will get 3-4”, with a coating NW.

The reason we aren’t getting any f*cking snow is people keep calling it a miller b

The gfs was awful but the one good thing is before the coastal, Baltimore gets 3-4”.

They shouldn't even run surface panels for the CFS. It's a climate model.
I didn’t even know hourly CFS was a thing. Is that new?

Am I the only one that was disappointed with the January ‘16 blizzard? Havre de Grace got a windswept 18-20” while Bel Air received a 34” solid STACK. The forecast said 24+. I couldn’t help but be sour. I mean damn. 14-16” more over 8-10 miles? No thanks. I was in a relative screwzone. I got shit for complaining about it then, but an inch qpf difference in that short of a distance is substantial.
