If 12z blows definitely can go the route of thread #2. Or if the gfs stays on an island that’s basically the same outcome since it’s the worst model this year minus the god awful GGEM
Is the GFS really that bad though? I feel like it’s now showing a pretty similar outcome (within a few hundred miles) to what was shown 3-4 days ago. Granted, the evolution is completely different to what it was then, but that’s true on all of the OPs right now.
HOWEVER, it’s possible I’m talking out of my ass and the GFS really is verified to be the worst lol

Well…let’s all hope the gfs isn’t on to something.
.I thought we wanted a Memphis-Chicago storm track?

Anything interesting for individual members for 12z GEFS? The mean precip is very wet now, but I can’t see the members on TT.
edit: found it in the NE forum. Yikes.

I know it’s way out there, but it’s nice to see the GFS showing multiple ways to get snow around 2/15-16. This time it’s a clipper.

Someone has to answer for that... We had no momentum in the first half. Playing from behind in the second.
Chiefs basically took our game plan of long punishing drives and used it against us.
Monken never got Lamar in a rhythm. Nothing short, no slants, no screens. Honestly flashbacks to cam cameron airing it out on every play. No idea if this was by design or if Lamar was trying too much for the big splash play.
Lamar held the ball WAY too long. Either throw it away, check down, or run with it. Trying to hard to prove his passing skills. Monken/Lamar own this loss.
I hope Flowers can shake this off. Made a couple rookie mistakes at the wrong time. Penalties / bad decisions cost us at least 6 points.
Chiefs are a beatable team but you can't play dumb. Too many turnovers and penalties mixed with a suspect offensive game plan lost the game.
Defense played as good as you can against #15. They were on the field for most of the first half and held the chiefs scoreless in the 2nd.
Defense was lights-out, the only positive I can find in this game. Only problem is half of them will be gone next year lol

Unfathomable stat- Ravens RBs had 6 carries.
Absolutely wild. Honestly, the Ravens didn’t have an issue moving the ball, on the ground or passing. The 3 (?) turnovers cost us the game. Lamar overthrew consistently by about 2 yards throughout the game, but despite that we had some huge deep shots that the Chiefs didn’t have an answer for.
I hate to say it but Lamar looked truly lost a few times.

Why did I choose multiple interests that I have zero control over?

20° difference in temps showing up in the area. Closer to the water at about 54°, inland just south of Baltimore in the mid-70s. Absolutely crazy.

I know we are hoping against hope with this one, but that blend has been way low for the last 2 snowstorms at least where I live.
edit: How did it do for others’ backyards?
Pretty damn accurate for parts of MD at least

Friday is gonna be one of those weird days where it’s 60° inland and 45° by the bay.

I am going to the game today… however, I’ll have you know that the last one I went to, the Ravens lost. My sample size is too small to determine if I was a factor, but I’ll know today for sure.
You’re welcome everyone

I give today after 9am
C for snowfalling
A for scenery
F or model tracking and digital blue
D-all the back edge bs
Overall grade c-I would give it a C+. Peak snowfall rates were only about .5-.6”/hr, and it underperformed with totals. Winter storm warning for 5-7” and ended up with 3.7”. HRRR and hires NAM didn’t do well at all. Honestly no models showed the proper distribution of snow.
For people near DC, I can see how this is a great event. It looked horrible for them 2 days ago then yesterday everything got better. Up here however, it looked the best 2 days ago (4-6”) and trended worse.

3.3” at 12:30 in Havre de Grace. Really wanted to hit 4-5”, perhaps still possible but unlikely unless the coastal gets some stuff blossoming back here.
