  1. Winters are getting warmer and with it being so close to rain vs snow it doesn’t take much of an increase to make just about all storms end up as cold rain here like we have been seeing the last few years. Now up north they are getting more heavy snow events because warmer air holds more moisture and they have time before it warms up enough to turn their snow storms into rain storms. .
  2. This crazy weather is common now. .
  3. Yeah and even some rolling in before that around 3AM. .
  4. Looks like the us had the least warming than any other country. .
  5. That’s pretty common here to get freezing drizzle after losing saturation in the dendrite growth region. .
  6. Which means a lot more hurricanes making landfall in the se and the gulf coast. .
  7. I was in Flagstaff in August of 85 and there was still some snow on the peaks not to mention being in the 30s at night.
  8. But what caused the cooling trend during that period?
  9. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2015/01/150126-blizzard-weather-climate-northeast-science/ I definitely notice this here but mainly rain as snow is rare especially this year. The soil has been soggy for months it seems.
