    OK city had moderate snow and a temp of 1. Can't remember that ever happening in DC. Maybe back in like 94 between ice storms I remember a few inches with temps near 0.

    The radar over Louisiana ruined my morning. Heavy snow and cold temps must be nice. Been many years since I've seen that here.

    Looks like the melt starts today. Flooding rain and big mud on the way for this second week of this epic 2 week period. Amazing to see TX and LA having a better winter then the DC area lol.

    Sleety here now too. Unless it's going over to snow give me the freezing rain back. I was enjoying watching the trees get icy.

    I must be in my own private ice storm lol. My vehicles look like they're in the ice age. Pavement is iffy in spots and the trees are starting to sag.

    Not here. Pretty rapid accretion here on everything. Definitely so spotty sheets of ice on roads too. My sidewalk is a skating rink. It's only 27 degrees. It's not March and 31.5.

    I agree. Trees and bushes are already getting a decent glaze and it's steady freezing rain. Radar says we need a ISW in the DC metro

    Looking nice here. Rain coming down pretty good with a temp of 27. Sidewalk is a sheet of ice and my bamboo is already falling over. Radar looks great. I've seen ice build up on trees in March with a temp of 31 so today shouldn't be a problem.

    Radar looks better then I expect. Might actually be a decent ice event here in AA county today. Sideways already slippery.

    Thankfully starting as freezing rain here. I would of hated to waste qpf on worthless sleet. Sleet doesn't cause destruction

    Well.. if we're going to get ice I rather get some destruction so at least it's interesting to watch. A trace of ice is only fun for watching old people break hips. I wanna see huge oak trees breaking.

    Hopefully that holds and last until May. Then some cooler then average temps. I hate cold March and Aprils. I hope this stupid block breaks down soon.

    Absolutely! I'll take destructive weather year round. Glad the NAM came back around to the ice idea. Hopefully it's not some lame coating. I want to hear stuff smashing.

    If we're going to have boring a$$ freezing rain I hope it at least causes some destruction. What good is ice without crashing and booming. I hope people don't get hurt of course but I wouldn't mind some tree damage. Free firewood and I can charge to remove it. Let's face it. Most of us are here for extreme weather of any kind.

    Yeah.. I'm pretty bitter lol. Any threat is going to be funny to me after the joke I've experienced with models this winter. Gfs does look better for early week. Couple more ticks east and just maybe..
