Snow General replied to George BM's topic in Mid Atlantic
Ripping in Crozet. Wind is starting to pick up quite a bit. Closing in on 5”. Took the pup for a walk in the woods.

7” snow depth in Charlottesville. Looks like some decent compaction though. Trees and lines down all over. Power out.

Ended with about an inch of sleet here in Charlottesville. CHO is reporting 0.46” equivalent, which is about half the amount of qpf I was expecting here.
