Just got back and measured in a few spots protected from the wind and sun and would put it at 4” at my spot in Fallston.

@Interstate how did it do our way? Probably gonna use you for measurement for me up the road - just looked out the window where I am in south Orange, NJ and it is coming down hard up here - it’s a few degrees colder than back home and that clearly helped up this way.

Up in NYC since last night for holiday lights and a show with Beth and the kids and haven’t been following the models today - but the WWA up here just upped to 3” - 5” up to 6” for this area.

Um, no? Most of us know, but watching areas well to the south cash in several times while T - .2" are what we have seen in the northern areas as the reality kinda blows. I don't know why up here we would be "spoiled with this pattern". This pattern has been rather shite for many of us. Cold, dry, windy.

16 degrees in Fallston at 5 am.

All obs this year for me are from Fallston, MD - 11/30 - T 12/2 - A little frz rain to start - trees and car glazed - but 35 and rain for most of event 12/5 - T (dusting from a few hours of flurries as dry cold death air ate any chance of anything else north of BWI 12/6 - .3” surprise overnight light snow into early AM - covered all surfaces and whitened the fields Season total - .3”

Roads were actually kinda slick when I went to drop my girlfriend‘s son off for an early 5k.

Similar obs to my new neighbor - holy crap it’s gorgeous up in Fallston - kinda legit light snow overnight that is lingering this AM - ground is mostly white - I’m gonna log this as accumulating snow in the seasonal obs.

The steady flurries are coating the surfaces in Fallston / it’s pretty. At least not fully shut out. Official dusting.
