GCWarrior
So nice lately I’m barely thinking about skiing(though I really am!) Ive been out on the bike every other day for a couple weeks now. Trails are all running really nice around here. Done a few rides at the newtrail network out in Hancock, MA, Shaker Ridge. Super fun manmade flow with a sweet ripping single track as well. .

They can even think about making snow until the week of the 11th and then its a back and forth with warmth. Terrible looking early season pattern. GCWarrior
Next year I will start a mountain bike thread. It’s honestly one of the best ways to stay in shape for ski season. I have a gym membership but I’m finding I go less and less. Bikes, core workout, and leg blasters are all I need to get me ready for skiing. I’ll probably keep riding if the trails are clear(which I think they will). Ride and ski in the same day is always a fun time. Great ride yesterday up the road at Greylock Glen, trails were very leafy but still a lot of fun! .

Will 2nd the notion that MTB is a great cross training sport. The terrain reading techniques easily translate from one sport to another.
