Absolutely insane conditions over here. Wind is roaring. House getting pelted by tree branches. Lights constantly flickering/dimming. Neighborhoods all around me are without power.

42,000 without power throughout the county.

Wow- up to 42000 now?  Wind is really ripping

This is without a doubt the worst storm I have experienced since 2010. Whiteout conditions currently. Couldn't even take video or pictures. Impossible to measure what's accumulated, but easily over 8-10" so far. Winds continue to howl. Can hear cracking trees in the distance. Snow accumulating on vertical surfaces.

Yeah looks pretty crazy on radar and road cameras. Tame here in the west side of Delmarva, maybe 4 to 5" with wind

Sorry you're missing out on the big totals. I guess the east bump in some of the . modeling was real, or the precip shield just didn't extend back enough

Looks like best potential accumulation atm would be somewhere around Greenwood DE to the Atlantic coast. Not sure what to expect for the midshore area of MD. Euro has this area between the major snow producing features and the American models have the coastal close enough to be 10+. USUALLY in this setup the coastal ends up further east and only the aforementioned areas cash in. I suspect this will be no different but the American model super duo make it tough to totally discount a more generous solution.

Know your climo kids!
