It Is right off I 81-77 so not far out of the way to check it out and say Ive been there lol City of Wytheville and their famous pencil and Skeeter's Famous Hot Dogs below Dr Pepper in downtown Roanoke, VA Mill Mtn Star over the city of Roanoke, VA New River past Radford, VA, one of the few rivers that flow north Draper mtn with some fog lifting off it, near Pulaski, VA Where the tornado at Glade Spring, VA ripped through in April 2011. You can see where it destroyed a barn and stripped a tree right off I 81 Pepsi Billboard in Johnson City, TN Welcome to Kingsport, TN View down I 26 towards the Appalachian Mtns in NE TN Thunderstorms on I 26 in the Appalachian Mtns on the NC/TN line Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I hear ya on the not visiting places close by. I grew up in NW NJ and never been to Liberty Island and it was an hour away from me, LOL. If you go to Wytheville, go to Skeeter's for lunch. You wont dissapointed Im told. It was a neat town though, I love visiting some of these small Appalachian towns, you can find some neat stuff in them every so often. Dave, nice series.
