We needed a BBQ pic....been too long Clearing out a bit....might get some more shwrs through later. The view from our place is amazing right now.....looking down at the white tree line for miles and miles. best part for me is the roads are clear. BucksCO_PA Posted February 20, 2012 Share Posted February 20, 2012 Great time up at Lake Harmony the past 4 days, maybe the last vestige of winter but really nice to get a couple of days with snow - between 2-3" thurs & another quick inch yesterday. This yrs Pocono jaunt could have easily been a disaster this winter but at 1850' a couple of blocks off the lake it actually looked & felt like winter. A few from yesterday's quick inch: Hiked 6 miles today from the house to the top of Big Boulder & back, good 4-5" at almost 2200' on the north side of the summit. Beautiful, peaceful shots..thanks for sharing! Nearly bought a little cabin in Gouldsboro a couple years back...it's these scenes that remind me that perhaps I should have (though my "mortgage wallet" thanks me) I just will never get how so many can't see the beauty and serenity of snow in this crazy paced world of ours...have to battle these unfortunates in the office all the time!
