This topic may have to be extended to the next two weeks. Holy UPSLOPE batman!

Yeah, looks like early next week will see an extended period of Upslope! This type of pattern is really frustrating because you get a great 1-2' event followed by an inch of rain from a lakes-cutter, followed by another 1-2' of upslope. The base never really gets a chance to grow. This is what we saw in the 2008/09 La nina when the mountains got above avg snowfall but rain events every week or two to wash away the base. I think jonjon has mentioned this before.

weekend storm should be an icy mix up there (CAD). Base should hold ok....

In truth...I edited to 6.2". Crazy thing is my first edit, prior to the double edit :() was 4.4", should have just gone with my gut. Oh well.

nam mos wasnt pumping out much moisture.. looks like it was pretty much right.

i dont really know much about that area.. guess it's good to learn.

Late Afternoon: Snow. Steady temperature around 1. South southeast wind around 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 5 to 9 inches possible.

Tonight: Snow. Low around 0. Windy, with a south wind between 32 and 40 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 14 to 20 inches possible.

Wednesday: Snow showers. High near 7. Windy, with a southwest wind between 30 and 38 mph, with gusts as high as 49 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 8 to 12 inches possible.

Thursday: Snow showers. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 7. Windy, with a west southwest wind between 24 and 34 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 12 to 18 inches possible.

Thursday Night: Snow showers. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around -4. Windy. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 14 to 20 inches possible.

Friday: Snow showers. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 5. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.
