Canadian is a mixed back this time. I want my 2 feet of snow back.

GFS took a step in the right direction. Instead of rain it's a lot of ice this time for northern NC.

That's like a classic winter storm of old for here, with a little bit of everything.

Then back to snow for most of NC at 174.

Tons of freezing rain from Wake to the coast on the ICON at 168.

ICON has some snow in central NC at 156. Mixing at 162.

Ensembles look better than the ops, but worried this is going to end up like the system we have had here the last two days. I can't stand anymore cold rain.

Canadian and ICON seem to be the best looking right now, followed by the Euro, and the GFS bringing up the rear.

GFS even warmer this time. Nothing but rain for NC.

12z Euro finally running.

I didn't know the Euro had a big storm last night. It seems the GFS is the warmest solution, with the Euro, ICON and Canadian all showing a big winter storm for NC.

I guess the Euro isn't going to run after all.
