Yes, there's still a tornado watch until 2pm. But until that line to our west clears the area, I imagine there's still a risk. Curious to see if the watch is extended a few hours based on the timing of the line.

And we got Iggles tonight!! Yeah sure, it'll be a bunch of 4th stringers who aren't even good enough for the CFL with endless false starts, illegal motion & formation penalties, clock management issues, etc. But football season is here!!

Almost feels like September out there. DPs still high at 65F, but temp is 67F. AC off and windows open (for now).

Getting some mod to light rain with thunder. The good news is it dropped my temp from 92F down to 82F. The better news is, if the long range outlook is correct, we won't see 90F again for awhile!!

No surprise, unfortunately. Nina summers tend hang on well into fall. My birthday is mid September and that's when I used to wrap up the AC for the season. But over the past decade, I find myself waiting until mid Oct. 87F/DP 77F as we approach 10am...today is gonna suck!

Got out of bed around 3am to turn off the AC and open the windows. Also, we're at the time of year now when birds aren't as obnoxious at 4:30am as they are in April & May. 72F/DP 58F
