    I noticed something like that but there was an occasional boom of thunder. But on one specific occasion I saw a bolt of lightning, the actual zigzag bolt not just a flash, opened the door to listen to the thunder but it never came. Also had nickel sized hail around 11:30pm - midnight. Another storm apparently hit around 4am but I slept through it, but I noticed some wind damage around the house, large branches down, lot of blossoms on my Yoshino Cherry ripped off.

    Uhmm, I went to the grocery store in Westminster this morning. Not busy. I wore a mask and had a disinfectant wipe with me. I picked up some chicken thighs and few other things to make pressure cooker chicken casserole type dish. No way can I not go grocery shopping for two to four weeks like some of y'all. Yes, it's worrisome as an older gent with some health issues but still gotta eat healthy.

    I have a couple of these clocks in the house. You might find them helpful since they prominently display both Day and Date in a nice looking display. Even the weather nerd is satiated with the indoor temperature displayed.     ^^ Don't think China would mess with the US. The flow of goods from them to us is so great they wouldn't want to break that relationship.

    The liquor store next to the Giant in Westminster was on the quiet side when I visited earlier this morning. I took a deep breath, entered, got what I wanted, walked out and exhaled.

    The "Money Look" seems like a complicated setup from your diagrams, no wonder it is on the rarer side. That aside, many if not most of our big dumpers tend to slow down as they are climbing up the eastern seaboard. What is that attributed to? What prevents them from hauling ass into that large elongated area of low pressure stretched across the northern atlantic?

    That was a nice storm even for Baltimore ~ 10 inches and cold.

    I always use 4:1 in my hummingbird feeder and get the birds all summer, I still have them around now. My feeder is on a hook attached to the railing of my deck and I have never had any racoon problems with it. Plus it is a good 15 feet above ground as well.

    I didn't get as much as some folks to the south but what I got was pure powder. Finished with 5.75" which melted down to 0.33" for a 17:1 ratio. I think the .33 was pretty much along the lines of most guidance except probably the last NAM runs ha ha.
