Yup. Growing up we had a swamp in our backyard and someone left the basement door open and we found one in the basement. It was NOT happy. thing was big too, easily over 5 feet

yeah water snakes have red, especially underneath.

Rat snake or water snake. Looks more like a water snake to me.

This weather is fucking brutal. We aren’t even getting meaningful rain, which makes it so much worse.
