  1. If we have another dog shit winter this year there are going to be some absolute hall of fame level posts and meltdowns. Like Mike Jordan in his prime type stuff.
  2. If we didn’t buy our house when we did in early 2019 we’d have no shot. No kids with a low six figure income combined and we’d be able to afford next to nothing in this are currently. the condo we rented in 2018-2019 before we bought our house was $1400 a month. It was up for rent again last month and the asking price per month is now $2500 per month. $1100 increase per month in rent in just four years. It’s just not sustainable long term.
  3. Just got propane delivered today. 327 gallons to top of the tank. If we’re lucky, that’ll last this year and most of next
  4. Is buying land before we have a plan for it dumb? We’ve always wanted to have a small place in NH, and I’ve seen some lots that go for 10-20k that would fit our purposes. Wed eventually probably build a cheap cabin or something on it
  5. Am I in trouble here? @dendrite @tamarack this is one of my blue spruces that I planted last year. This is the most severe, but 2 others have similar yellowing. The other 3 have a small amount, but appear to be generally okay.
  6. He’s going to be driving to Hudson Bay to snowmobile soon
  7. Yeah the windows were open, I didn’t expect it to get so cool, so my fault. Just had to turn it on a bit.
  8. Got down to 37.1 this morning. Had to turn the heat on… house was 58
  9. I’d have to really dig into it, but we’ve definitely items come off the high of the mid 2010s, no doubt about that. Hell, I didn’t even bother keeping snow totals last year we got so little lol.
  10. You’re pretty much right. Even here. Outside of the Jan 22 blizzard the last 5 years has sneaky blown here.
  11. Yup, and they are still running with information that he doesn’t know them, which is wild. hopefully Justice prevails, whatever that is. It’s scary to think about corruption of this magnitude potentially in our legal system
  12. Don’t forget that they had the basement floor replaced and then suddenly sold the house under market value shortly before all of this started to come to light. You almost don’t want to believe it because it is so gross, but it’s hard to ignore all these things.
  13. There is a lot of things that make you think. It seems hard to believe the homeowner who had a dead cop on his front lawn was never seriously interviewed or even questioned on what happened. Like you said, this whole thing stinks. We’ll connected people in town, and just about everyone involved and or working on the case knows each other.
  14. I mean, isn’t part of what happened yesterday about that? The most vocal source of opposition. I usually roll my eyes over this type of stuff, but there seems to be a lot of smoke here.
  15. Yeah, he needs to keep it on the up and up. I think he’s right on the story though.

  17. I mean, it was bad here, I think we got less than a foot but it can obviously be worse. We could get nearly skunked, especially down here. It’s happened before.
  18. I’ll also contend that it can get worse lol. It can always get worse
  19. I know this was a huge story last year, so I just wanted to announce this now. I will be heading to North Conway for a ski trip the last week of Jan into Feb.
