  1. I know this was a huge story last year, so I just wanted to announce this now. I will be heading to North Conway for a ski trip the last week of Jan into Feb.
  2. This has been the elephant in the room for months now that nobody wants to talk about. average is average for a reason, and it’s likely we will dry out at some point
  3. Perfect, cold and no snow? An even more loathsome combination than last year
  4. Yeah our girl was abused before we got her so she is very apprehensive of strangers. We do two doses of gabapentin normally before we go so she’s very sedated. Today, not so much. Not sure if the antibiotics kind of reduced the effect of the sedative. Either way, vet was feeling around the jaw and mouth and she got her a bit. No blood or anything, just kind of a warning. I think going forward we are going to muzzle her when we go, just to be on the safe side.
  5. So got some surprising good news today. The antibiotics significantly reduced the swelling and infect. Vet was very encouraged and doing another week of antibiotics to make sure it’s completely clear. No follow up necessary for now, so she doesn’t think it’s anything cancer/Mass at this point. Our girl did nip at the vet today when she was examining her mouth, which was super embarrassing for my wife and I, but, what can you do I guess.
  6. Models don’t exactly look warm advancing towards the end of the month.
  7. AC on tonight, worst night so far. Still in upper 60s outside and house was 77, had to turn it on.
  8. Out of principal, I wouldn’t pay lol. Plenty of foliage not on the toll road
  9. I’m as big of an AC guy as there is, but there was jus not need tonight. Window fan is fine, already down to 58
  10. Euro certainly does not show that. I’m expecting a cloudy, but mostly dry Saturday
  11. We tried to tell ‘em. Not going to be much rain here. May not be nice out, but at least it’ll likely be dry
  12. I don’t know. Looks like this area has the best chance to avoid the rains
  13. Seems like most models keeping this general area dry. We pray
  14. I mean, he’s not the first person to feel like this winter May suck
  15. Thanks guys for the reassurance. Sounds like I’m good to go.
  16. Some absolutely stunning color in the swampy areas around here. Especially the reds.
  17. I should have been more clear, they did have to enlarge it a bit to get the plug situated, but the actual damage to the tire was so minimal in the first place because the hole was so small. The guy actually had trouble finding where it was leaking from. I called my father and he said when he was growing up, there was no “patch and plug” it was always just a plug and always worked fine if the hole was from a nail or something like that. As long as the tire wasn’t gashed open.
  18. Kind of a weird question. I had a pinhole leak in my rear tire (was losing like 8-10 psi every 10 days or so) and I finally took it to have it looked at. It was a tiny piece of metal wire stuck into the tire. They plugged the tiny hole, and sent me on my way. Is there any reason this won’t last? I know if the whole is bigger, they recommend a plug and patch, but it was tiny. I drive a ton, and don’t feel like having my tire explode or go flat on the highway lol
