We cut our trip to North Conway way short. We left this afternoon… it was supposed to be a week trip ending on Saturday… so really we stayed for a few days and left. Anyway, the weather was garbage, and even if it wasn’t raining it was damp and crappy. It also didn’t look much better moving forward either

Planted a red maple tree Monday. It was literally floating in the hole I planted it in this afternoon. Never seen that before

Yes… it’s definitely plausible… I just wouldn’t count on it. As usual, could be some surprises. I mean, we could still use the rain around here… good for the wells

It’s going to be very hard, in the United States especially, to return to mask mandates and covid restrictions. The toothpaste is out of the tube at this point, and it’s going to be very hard to put it back in. Like I said a few days ago, maybe Australia and Canada can do that crap and get a good amount of buy in, but it won’t be happening here. Begging people to get the vaccine and then slamming restrictions back on come the fall after telling people they can return to normal with a vaccine is a horrible look.

Pretty much. I find it incredibly hard to believe there will be a reintroduction of restrictions come fall and winter with the vaccination rates here.

Sucks to live in those states with low vaccination rates I guess. Covid is effectively over in MA and the northeast as a whole. See you for the next pandemic.

CT electrical infrastructure:

We have a kayaking trip on the Saco planned for next week. I’ve heard horror stories of people having to wait and drag kayaks and canoes through water that’s 2” deep… guessing this will help that

Yeah.., looks like the big rain will be in areas that have been pretty dry too
