    It’s a “fat Albert” blue spruce, so I was just curious. I scoured the internet and I guess some blue spruce can produce that type of gold color new growth. I was afraid it was a fungus or something

    My blue spruces came in yesterday. Can anyone explain what is going on here? What are all these yellow things? They look like flowers or something almost, they are on all six trees @tamarack @dendrite

    It’s just a vicious cycle. Like someone mentioned earlier… it’s just the people who sold high having more money to put towards a new house, so it remains constantly high. So if you don’t have something to sell, you are really porked right now

    I’m kind of impatient lol… the 3 foot Colorado spruce they are sending is already 5 years old. Im down for trying anything that looks good and gets decent size. To build my neighborhood, they just leveled the whole area. The only trees that are here are those stupid ornamental pears. Some people have planted some other small stuff, but I’d like something bigger

    Bought a Colorado blue spruce and a dawn redwood tree from an online nursery on Etsy of all places lol. Come about 3 feet tall, reviews are awesome….

    Right, everyone here is hunting huge storms, so for many folks east and southeast, the blizzard this year was an all timer.

    I don’t disagree with your points at all, I just think this entire forum puts a premium on high end winter events, and from me to you had an all timer. Retention was generally terrible, and outside of the bigger ticket events, we basically did not get much snow, so I understand that aspect of it. For me, I don’t weight retention much here. We usually don’t hold snow much. I place a much higher weight on bigger events
