So we decided to keep our ski trip in a few weeks. Brother was up at cranmore today. said the conditions are absolutely pathetic for Jan 1. Hoping they score over the next 2+ weeks

This (among many other) is probably the biggest limiting factor for this threat. Airmass is stale puke no matter how you slice it.

Normally I’d agree, but there is a complete lack of cold air anywhere near this system. The majority of guidance that has shown a system has been very warm. Sucks that we’re dealing with spring like puke during the first week of January

If it’s going to look like the 12z gfs, I’d rather it slide to Bermuda, and I mean that.

Yes, this last 4-5 days has been painfully depressing. Frozen, bare landscape

The majority are not good for SNE… you basically have 2 or 3 members with snow and the rest witg nothing.

There really isn’t even good consensus on a very favorable pattern. Not nearly as good as what we just went through

Yeah, it ain’t really worth it right now. Shades fully closed until at least the 12th probably 15th here

I’d rather drink battery acid at this point than look at anymore of these long range charts. I think we’ve kind of moved past that at this point. It’ll either produce or it won’t. Everyone here has been shoveling chart snow for over a month now

I don’t know…. It looks like mid Jan for most of SNE unless something sneaks up. Hopefully it’s not longer than that. tik tok.
