    We hope. Drive up on Thursday afternoon would suck, but a small price to pay. It’s taken my wife like 8+ years to want to try skiing again after she got hurt. I’m just worried the conditions would be so dog shit she’d never want to go agai .

    I skied there a lot as a kid, and I always liked it. It’s definitely more a beginner feel, which is why I think my wife will like it. I’ll take the 00z NAM and run, that would probably be 6-10” for cranmore followed by a bit of rain. Net gain

    Looking at moving our lift tickets to another day later in the winter. May still go for the trip, since we cannot get a refund at this point, but definitely tossing around the possibility of booking for sometime in late Feb or March and hoping it’s better

    This is about the time you’re really going to have to know posters locations when interpreting model runs. I though the Euro and Eps looked fine for the places that appeared to be in a good spot already.

    I’m a little surprised, seems like it’s kind of an outlier right now. But with this winter, I’m sure everything will blast north and it’ll be rains to central Canada within the next few runs

    I don’t blame people for being totally done with this season to the point where they’d rather torch it to Canada and at least get some decent weather in here. I also can’t stomach another two week “positive” outlook. that ship sailed a long time ago

    I think at the end of the day, people mostly care about their backyard. I think it’s also fair if people don’t give a shit about your 4 or 5 years of below average snowfall. It goes both ways If it doesn’t snow in their backyard, most people could care less.
