These "under forecasted" snowfalls since wed night here, have been something else. I came home tonight to another 2.5 to 3" inches of new snow from today. Forecast this morning at last check was, a 40% chance of scattered snow showers lol. Since wed night, I've picked up 6" inches of snow. Pretty wild actually. I will absolutely remember this winter for its very frequent and over achieving nickle and dime events, and odd far stretching les streamers that actually put down good amounts. Seasonal total now sits at, 29.0". Feels like deep winter with a nice snow pack and 15 degrees currently. What a shame this will be wiped out next week. -

Happy New Year everyone. While I was sound asleep and missed the squall line. There is a good 2-3 inches of snow on the ground here between yesterday's steady but light clipper snow; and the early morning squall line. Impossible to get an accurate reading with all that blowing/drifting from the wind. It's now a very cold 9 degrees outside. -

Beautiful evening out there. Light snow currently falling and right around 1 inch so far in my area of the Poconos. I see Binghamton Nws pulled the trigger on an advisory here, I wasn't expecting that. They're calling for 2 to 5 inches by morning. This turned into a nice little event once again. Good luck to everyone tonight. -

It sure was, I ended up with a hair over 4.0" inches from that. Meso's and a few globals had hinted at it for a couple days, but I didn't put much stock into it at the time as its a rare occurrence this far east. -

Incredible, just got home from work and just finished cleaning up the driveway and steps. 3.0" inches of lake effect from this tiny streamer sitting over my area of the Poconos this evening. Roads are horrendous. This is very localized stuff around here this evening. Season total now 15.0". Still snowing extremely heavy. -

Right around 2.5" inches of snow today from the clipper in my part of the Poconos. Great snow pack refresher! Sitting at around 12.0" for the season now. -

I just got home from work. I measured 6.0" exactly here in my part of the Poconos. Newfoundland, southern Wayne county at 2,075' feet. That was most likely after it compacted some today. I see a few reports just to my northeast, coming in with 7.0 to 8.0" inches. Regardless, was a nice moderate event for early December up here. Add in the lake effect snow back in November, I'm now sitting at 9.0" inches for the season. Im just glad my plow guy actually showed up lol. It saved me some work this evening after a long day. I hope all of those that saw the white gold today enjoyed it! -

Experienced that band as it slipped s.e here at work in Scranton. I saw the flashes to the nw. Was mainly graupel/ rain mix here in the valley as the band was decaying, but a short intense bout. Pretty wild! -

Hey everyone! Posted in the wrong forum last night lol. Anyways, I had my first snow accumulations yesterday from the les. I was at work all day, but checking my cameras it actually snowed all day. Didnt have much for accumulations at work near Scranton Pa. When I got home, a very different story in my part of the Poconos at 2,075' feet. Had about 2 inches on the grass and near 3" on my deck. Pretty much nothing on roadways. I was quite surprised regardless. Nice little event for Nov 11th. I Included a photo when I got home last night at 630 pm. Just saying hello to everyone and fingers crossed for a good upcoming snow season! -
Nice hit of les here in the Poconos at 2,075' today. I was at work, but checking my cameras it pretty much snowed all day. Got home around 630 pm, and found about 3" inches on the deck, 2" inches on the grass and just spotty accumulations on the road. Not bad for Nov 11th.

38 degrees at my house in the Poconos this am. I saw a reading of 34 on my way to work on the truck thermometer, in a lower elevated sheltered area. Pretty impressive for June lol.

39 degrees this morning here in the Poconos, with showers. Is it October or late May? I actually had to turn the heat on last night as my house was 58 degrees. Something I rarely do this late into the year. Ridiculous lol. The days and days of rain is downright depressing at this point.

Still snowing moderately here in the Poconos and flirting right around that 32 degree mark. It's virtually impossible to measure with how fast it's compacting. Looks like another half inch to inch back on the deck, of pure slop. Easily close to 5.5 to 6" storm total now, atleast on the grassy areas. Beautiful scenery! Nice late season event for sure!
-
I saw reports in Monroe county of around 3.0". This was highly elevation dependent, and banding played a role too. High Point was located in some beautiful banding early this am.
-
Yeah if this continues 6.0" is very likely atleast on the grass. Totals are much lower once you're below 1,800 feet.
-
30 degrees and moderate snow continues here in the Poconos. Having difficulty sticking even above 2k now. I measured 5.0" on the grass, 4.0" on my deck and around 2.0" to 3.0" on the road and driveway. Gotta love late season wet snow lol. Beautiful late season event! Picture is looking down my road.
-
5.0" inches on grass, 4.0" inches on deck and 2.0 to 3.0" on the road. Have to love late season wet snow on warm ground lol. Moderate snow continues but having difficulty sticking. Temp is right around 30. Picture is looking down my road.
-
4.0" is what I'm coming up with here in the Poconos so far. Light snow continues.
-
4 inches of a heavy wet mess this morning in my part of the Poconos so far.
-
Full transition to wet snow just occurred here 15 min ago on the Pocono plateau; at 2,075' feet. It will be interesting by morning.

Hey Neighbor! I see they have hoisted advisories for my area to your east. I would not be surprised to see Lackawanna and Luzurne counties for the higher elevations added in there as well. You guys should also get in on deformation fun!
