  1. Can we see this for more of Maine as well, please? I don't have a sub to anything that'll give me wind gust maps. Looks like 60 in Portland area... Wonder if this won't be much for us, but more for CT, RI and Mass??
  2. Need to take a measurement but looks like a foot on the tonneau of the truck here in Gray ME Looks like we may over perform estimates here!
  3. CMP I know didn't bring anybody in until after it was already underway/after the fact. Depending on rain flooding was by far the more consequential thing from the pre-xmas storm. Up by camp in Rangeley there is a lot of damage.
  4. Don't have anything I can see 10m gusts on, but next Wednesday looks interesting...
  5. Anyone have a 10m gust map for this system? Looks a bit interesting on the 10m sustained. .
  6. 158,000+ CMP outages. Still an hour to go or so of gusts here.
  7. Tropical tidbits is having issues was trying to see for myself so I could shed a tear...
  8. Do the heavy rains and soft ground change things? If the ground was frozen I don't think there'd be much concern for damage
  9. Still looks like 50-55 up here in Maine… with soft ground and that wind direction that’ll do some damage
  10. After the last one didn't pan out I have a feeling they won't be so apt to bring in line crews to hang out for nothing again... lines could be down for a while this time
  11. Euro 10m gust map? Euro looks to go way east again
  12. maybe with the wind this time? Snow would be good too...
  13. I'm on Gray FD. Something came down on Yarmouth RD and I think whatever was frying over there made the whole area flicker before Yarmouth RD tripped out. Looking at wind maps now I'd say that's about the most action we'll see
  14. Moderate Rain and 40 here in Gray, ME. Doesn't bode well I'm getting lots of power flicking and the wind hasn't even picked up yet...
  15. Can see on the LTE game cameras in Rangeley, ME there was about a foot of snow on the ground... they're getting rain then maybe that whole foot dropped right back on them... so wild. Good for an early opening of snowmobile trails, all good in my book
  16. 40, heavy rain. Very foggy, has been all day. PWM ATC has been redirecting flights all day, visibility below minimums
  17. Means Portland area of Maine, totally out of any action outside of rain now. Wind all moved far downeast
  18. GYX saying in their discussion they don't fully buy the eastward trend and aren't dropping wind watches for us yet. Starting to look less and less impressive, unfortunately.
  19. Wow... we'll see I guess, so is westerly ticks are good for wind, bad for snow everyone else is watching right now? I'm all rain here in Gray, so I'm rooting for wind only at this point
  20. Looked like earlier there wasn't really anything in Portland now? Is this now completely a downeast storm now?
  21. Big bummer for southern coastal Maine... at one point the NAM was putting us into the 70mph gust zone... now it's really only downeast that's the jackpot for us anyway
  22. Looks like a bummer for wind in Portland area recently…
  23. GYX buying higher winds it looks like. High Wind Watches up further than just the immediate coast. Haven't seen anyone post anything about the wind much in the past couple pages here... do we not buy?
