    It wasn’t an attack… the fact that you get in this mindset on a weather thread alone is probably part of the problem. We all want it just as bad as you. I know a lot of people have gone on the offensive with you, and my post was a little passive aggressive at you…but hardly an attack. That being said, you can always vent to me here, I’d prefer via PM’s though. the Gfs is conjuring up your cure potion for next week anyways.

    False hope is indeed the worst kind of hope. Getting a boundary south of us and any resemblance of blocking/a cold antecedent airmass at least makes it make sense.

    No reason to ignore you, it’s not like you’re a bad person for your posts. You just need some snow to cure the disease you’ve come up with.

    Your posts are never about anything important, but I agree. Randy has the final say about threads for any storm that could salvage this god forsaken “winter.” Threads don’t affect the weather though…

    I dread reading your posts knowing what they're going to sound like before I even read them. When we get bad news from a model run, it's like predicting death & taxes.

    The neighborhood I'm in is prime for a long sled track, ideal conditions at the moment lol. Roads out our way were nothing short of awful. Some sleet in there now to really make things rough.

    About 3” here, but it was cool to see us work out that warm layer and it’s all snow in this batch. Don’t think the stuff south has the right vector to nip us sadly. Thermals are still cooperating too, 31 here

    It’s dumping right now, all snow as well. 1”/hr stuff just think, if it did this until tonight we’d have a lot of snow lol

    I think you’re talking about the storm 2 years ago? Haha we didn’t have that last year, but Thurmont up to you got 20” while Westminster got like 8 and Fairfield maybe 12-14”

    Over 2” in CV/Fairfield via the mrs and yeah it's interesting to see some other spots with the jack this time.

    The roads are incredibly bad in some spots around my neck of the woods.

    New band just popped up, great rates moving over us again.

    What road is that? 16 is a mess and they’re doing some detours.

    Surprised to see equal results in the valley. When I was coming down 16 for dropoff the snow had just started and blue ridge had a head start at that point, roads were starting to be covered.

    Carroll Valley has more than you do, unusual. Rates have been great though. Even Waynesboro has the same or a bit more.

    Absolutely. I’ve cut back my forum time for that very reason, it can get unhealthy lol. Thank God I have 2 young kids to keep me busy when the long range looks sour

    Well I should have added more context… to be fair. I was looking at obs and dews and with snow down to northern VA, I was pretty confident the column would support snow when it did make it to the LanCo folks it’s been a long season. I got my buddy complaining daily to me about the drought we’ve been in, and not having a real “big one” since 2016 has worn on our patience.
