    Yea, part of the reason why I pushed it back to start of March. Was looking at end Feb but I'd like to give February a chance to perform for the UP and lay something down. Everything is cancellable so we'll wait and see.

    It’s been a stinker, no shame in calling it what it is. I don’t hold my breath for the New Years slop fest in a continental climate when sun angle is at its lowest.

    Most of the area will get a DAB+. Some areas will get 1-3". That's the most you could have ever hoped for from this event unless you're in the snow capital of the world Minneapolis.

    Someone will get lucky with the convective nature of the wrap around snow showers. Others will get shafted. Still going with DAB+ area wide, 1-3" where you get lucky. At a minimum, it should like winter everywhere.

    Oh yes, I know. It's just that in the world of imperfect information, where our expectations may defy us, where Midland, Texas gets double the snow of LOT, IF the Pac were to remain unchanged, than may the -NAO be no more.

    If the Pac stays as it is, then hopefully it does abandon us. Make NE Illinois like the surface of the sun for all I care.
