Todays 06z GFS has a classic miller A at the end of the run. Beautiful. Good hit from D.C to Boston. First one I've seen modeled this year.

Wow 8F;  where did this come from? Looks like my mud will be solid for a day at least.

The previous two winters, March has been the snowiest month here. I have a feeling this winter will be a repeat. Of course, unless the rest of February surprises us it wouldn't take much.

I haven’t lost faith things could improve later Feb into March and now that January is toast and early Feb on life support that prospect isn’t sounding so bad. But a month ago no one wanted to hear “we have to wait until the very end of winter to have a real chance”. Right about now most would sign on the dotted line for a Feb 15 pattern flip. 

Seems the last two winters the same worries during January and February were going on.  I ended up getting half my total snow during March.

Snow very light right now.  1.25" so far.  24F.  Roads snow covered.

Snow just started up again after being in that that snow hole.

Fun while it lasted. Just  fine, light snow now.

Wow, snow moved in fast. Moderate at this time.  23/14.

What is a full latutude trough? Does it have to cover a minimum number of degrees to fall in that category?

0.75" snow. There was probably some compaction during the event.
