It's 2020 and it's a gulf storm. It will be at least a cat 2.

Counting the 1 inch of pre last night my total so far is 3.23".

Experiencing my strongest winds so far.

Looking at radar it seems I'm now in that training area of rain that extends s.e offshore. This should be my heaviest period of rain. Raining heavily at the moment.

Large trees really starting to sway.  Just a taste of what's to come.

Dark, breezy with mod/hvy rain. Getting exciting. Just hope I keep power.

I'm looking forward to reading this sub-forum in a few hours. Should be exciting, especially on Long Island. 

Wind is finally starting to pick up.

About 1.1" so far. I think a lot of that came in a downpour last night.

Loads of posters were saying it couldn't hit NJ because of climo, disregarding the fact that a large blocking ridge negated an ots solution.
