2.75" total
-
Actually, if you looked at the 'total positive snow-depth change' the models really weren't that far off in most areas.
-
Unless another round of snow comes through it looks like a 2" total.
-
Mod/hvy snow. 1.75" so far.
-
Lght snow. 33F
-
32F and freezing rain on car and trees.

No matter the total accumulation if any, there should be some nice snow in the air tomorrow. Love it.

NJ - second half of May most showers north and south and i'm not complaining it's a relief
Most of the soils in Monmouth county are fairly sandy and well drained which is a benefit. Soil here is much heavier and hasn't really dried out since 2017.
I used to live in Neptune during my teen years and still fish on a party boat out of Belmar.

Not that far away closer to 4.5" here
Reporting from Pa or NJ?

After 1.5" of rain yesterday the total for May will be 8.3". UNBELIEVABLE! ! !

Got 1.44" out of yesterdays northeaster. So far this year is looking to be a repeat of last year. Going to be hard to take if it works out that way.

Planning a trip to northern NE this summer as well. Would like to hike Mt. Washington but that can be problematic even during high summer, I've read. Would also like to get to Baxter State Park and do Katahdin and then mix in Acadia, but I don't want to be pushing myself and trying to take in too much in the time I've got. Would love to go to Lake Champlain as well but that would definitely involve a lot of back and forthing.
You could try climbing Mt. Jefferson and then take the Appalachian trail over to Mt. Washington. Easier than the climb up Mt. Washington.

Pretty to look at and doesn't mess up the roads. Not the worst thing in the world.
I like your attitude. Agree 100%

1 inch in Villanova, despite the WSW calling for 5 to 8 inches. Talk about a bust! Ffs
The report was at 6pm yesterday though.
Was it all rain after that?

Now that I got my power back. 7.0". Too bad it was dark and I couldn't enjoy it.

White rain is snow that melts when hitting the ground. Essentially doesnt accumulate so it's the equivalent of just rain....but the flakes are white .
Since we r discussing, does anyone know what Purple Rain is? Asking for a friend.
Don't know but what is 'snow tv' ?

Light rain with sleet starting to mix in. 35F
