    Models are stilling hinting for something around the 24th......

    everything is going to cut west for at least the next 8-9 days....Next chance is around the 25th give or take and then again around the 30th. Wouldn't be surprised if we get some small amounts from clippers as we get into later next week through month end as well.

    Anybody else taken a look at the Jan 24th time frame for a storm....I've been watching the 24th/25th for a few days now and I think there are ingredients on the table for a decent threat. Thoughts??

    Atmospheric Memory is a real thing folks.....Somewhere in Virginia is gonna jackpot this thing. Believe 2018 was the second wettest year in history. It looks to continue

    CMC didnt have anything in the last run so now its in the ball game. Looked Miller A but the 850s looked weird at first look

    If this storm does happen this weekend....Ground temperatures will be very cold the days leading up to the storm. Sticking would not be a problem at the onset.

    Im watching Next weekends storm here in Virginia very closely.......The ingredients are certainly there for a winter storm. Lets watch the ensemble trends over the next 24 hours for our best clues to what might unfold. The Euro certainly thinks the air mass will be near optimal and the ground will be quite cold as well. Stay tuned.
