    Perhaps in the 70's or 80's...I have a vague memory of Boston setting a record for most days with snow but it didn't amount to all that much snowfall...

    Many folk here aren't winter people...they only tolerate winter because of the potential for snow...outside of that they'd prefer it to be 95/75...

    Deepest depth in front yard that I measured is 20.5 . The house faces to the SSW. And receives a good amount of sunshine.

    45 inches of snow the last few weeks certainly contributed to the depth in that area.

    Part of the backyard within 10-12 feet of the home receives no sunlight so it is a protected spot...has its own microclimate lol

    3.6 in Methuen Deepest snow depth in front of home is 20.5 Deepest snow depth in rear of home is 30.3 Two things to keep in mind with that area: That area doesn't receive any sunshine and that area had some snow remaining after the January thaw.
