Good question....Prior to the epic stretch the grade was an F...after the epic stretch which includes the cold in March it was an A.....I long ago read about the epic stretch in 1717 and one of my weather bucket list items was to experience a repeat of 1717...and I sure did!...that raised the grade to an A...just below 95-96...A+ grade...

Not a fan of cold weather? ...2 major snowstorms in April of 96...

How many records were set in January?....this stretch broke all time daily high temp records..in some cases the records were smashed. 75 at my home on Tuesday

Just remember all that has been written come next winter ...when the usual suspects will be complaining if it is a mild winter with below normal snowfall...

Same people who complained about the last several winters are the ones who can't wait for this winter to end. As I have previously mentioned there aren't all that many winter lovers here. The majority only tolerate winter because of the increased chances for snow..they are snow lovers not winter lovers..

I would not be the least bit surprised if a backdoor front passes by at least part of the area on Tuesday..

1.7 in methuen but it was a difficult measure because of the 3/4 of an inch of rain/ sleet that had frozen below the layer of sleet/snow. Easily the most difficult cleanup of the season.
